HP EliteBook 840 Aero G8 Battery Replacement

Use this guide to replace your battery in your HP EliteBook 840 Aero G8 laptop. If batteries are faulty, your computer will not maintain a charge, and perform sub optimally. Keep in mind the potential hazard of electrical shock when handling the battery.

必要な工具と部品

  1. HP EliteBook 840 Aero G8 Battery Replacement, Battery: 手順 1、 2の画像 1 HP EliteBook 840 Aero G8 Battery Replacement, Battery: 手順 1、 2の画像 2

    • Use a JIS #0 screwdriver to unscrew the three 6.73 mm case retention screws.

    • Use a JIS #0 screwdriver to unscrew and remove the two 8.76 mm screws.

    • Use the Halberd Spudger to remove the cable running along the bottom of the battery

    • Disconnect the cable connected the battery to the motherboard

    • Use a JIS #0 screwdriver to unscrew the four 7 mm screws that secure the battery.

    • Slide the battery out of the clips to remove it from the laptop.
