I don’t need to replace the tray. I’m just trying to open it so I can clean it out. How can I open it? I pulled on the 2 tabs on the bottom and tried opening it but the tray will not open.

You shouldn’t be pulling on any tabs. With the machine right side up there is a recess in the middle at the bottom that you can hook your fingers in. Then you can pull it out like a drawer.

Same problem here. I followed the above directions and still I can not access the tray for cleaning.

This is the same procedure for the V4825 model in case anyone has that one.

You can completely remove the tray, but a couple additional steps are needed.

You need to slide the circuit board out. There is sufficient space to do so and it isn't fastened in place with screws or clips. You may need to clip the zip tie holding the wires and vacuum tubes to do so.

Once it is out, you can remove the 3 pin connector going to the tray sensor contacts. From there, remove the cable and the tray can finish sliding out for cleaning. It also gives better access for cleaning the top half of the vacuum chamber.

Reinstallation is opposite of removal. Make sure the sensor cable isn't getting pinched or bunched up when sliding the tray in/out before screwing the bottom back on.
