Does your Fellow Stagg EKG go above the set temperature or spew hot water from the holes in the cap? This simple trick fixed the issue for me. You only need a 3 mm triangle screwdriver. No replacement parts needed.

-
Remove the three triangle screws from the bottom of the kettle.
-
I used the iFixit 3 mm triangle bit from the Mako Precision Bit Set.
-

-
-
Push the temperature sensor all the way into its slot.
-
Mine had become loose. I could hear a rattle when shaking the kettle.
-
Mine stuck to its place quite snuggly with a gentle push.
-
Consider adding glue or tape if you're afraid of the sensor becoming loose again.
-
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

I followed the link to purchase and received a 4mm bit Triangle 2 which is too small for the screws and too small for my bit holder! How can I return?

I think I fixed my kettle with the 2mm triangle, which is indeed a bit small. However, I tested now again with the 3mm triangle, which seems to fit better. I updated the guide accordingly.
I used the 3mm triangle bit and that seemed like the right size. However, when I opened my kettle, the sensor wasn't loose, so I wasn't able to fix the issue for myself. However, randomly my kettle stopped boiling over a few days later - which is strange, cuz it was boiling over about 10+ times in a row. This is actually my second Fellow kettle, and the first one I got rid of after probably 5 years due to this same issue. Hope it doesn't come back for me, but it's frustrating cuz it seems like a longstanding problem which seems to be a design flaw (this kettle is only 2 years old).
