Electric Stove Burners and Drip Pans Replacement

This is the process of replacing the burners and drip pans for an electric stove. In a worst case scenario, this could prevent the receptacle block from reaching the burner.

We will show people how to replace these drip pans and burners with a few easy steps. To start, no tools are needed, but the parts listed in the details section can be purchased at any hardware store. Once you are completed with all the steps listed below, reassemble the stove and recycle the old drip pans through your local single-stream recycling or scrap metal yard!

    • Unplug the stove or turn off the breaker, if your stove does not allow you to unplug it.

    • Slide the burners out of the receptacle block.

    • The prongs attached to the burner in the second image fit the slots in the receptacle block in the third image.

    • Lift the drip pan out of the stove.

    • Wipe the surface underneath the drip pan to clean it and ensure there are no food remnants

    • If all the wires look satisfactory, add the new drip pan.
