This guide will show you how to replace the battery for your Dell XPS 18 if it has failed.

The board can then be moved out of the way to lay flat on your work surface without having to disconnect all the cables. Doing this eliminates this step and step 5. The order of operations then would be steps 1-3, 8, 9, 6, 7, and 10.

    it seems obvious, but after you lift out the battery you're looking a plain white plastic case. That's fine - you can go back through the steps omitting the ones of putting the battery and CMOS battery cables back in place. Basically, just reattach anything that's still there.

My unit is missing the right foot stand. Is there anywhere else I can find the model number. Need to purchase a new power supply?

Also might need to replace the touchscreen its cracked. Have to power her up first to find out. Do you have a video for touchscreen replacement?
