There is some disassembly required. You will want to prepare a clean and organized work space for this repair.

Use a spudger or your fingernail to pry out the 6 rubber and 2 plastic pieces on the bezel of the display.

  • Use a small phillips head screwdriver to remove the 8 screws.

Remove the 4 screws along EACH side of the screen. 8 screws total

Locate the two leads and gently remove them from the screen. They will stay connected to the computer. Do not touch the taped, white backing on your replacement monitor.
