    • Depending on your model, there could still be some hidden screws on the bottom case of the laptop that hold the palm-rest in place.

  7. There should be two small screws to the bottom corners of the speaker assembly, which can be found below the screen. Unscrew them.

    • NOTE: Keep track of where you put the screws after you remove them. Keep screws of the same size together and away from screws of different sizes.

  8. There should be a cable coming off the speakers that connects to the base below the keyboard. It should easily slide out from here. Congratulations! You have successfully removed the speakers.
