Badminton Racket Grip Tape Replacement

Over time, intense practice and play wears down the grip of the handle, making it painful to play as one’s hand is vulnerable to the racket’s wooden handle. Use this guide to regrip your racket in order to go back to comfortable gameplay.

必要な工具と部品

    • Remove the tape holding the grip at the top of the handle.

    • Unravel and remove the old grip.

    • Peel off about 5-6 inches of the paper or cellophane backing of the new grip tape.

    • Begin at the butt of the racket and wrap the tape at an incline depending on which is your dominant hand.

    • If left-handed, wrap towards the right. If right-handed, wrap towards the left.

    • Cut tape diagonally when you have reached the top of the handle.

    • At the top of the handle, wrap the grip with the strip provided in the over grip package.
