Asus TF300T Tablet Motherboard Replacement

The motherboard is the main part of a device where it controls the whole system and most of the component in the device is connected to it. Extra caution need to be taken as the wire is sensitive and can be easily broken.

必要な工具と部品

    • Disconnect the dock and make sure the power is turned of.

    • Use plastic opening tool to pry screen up and remove from outer casing.

    • Be gentle with the plastic opening tool when you reached the charging port as the thinner plastic could be broken easily.

    • Pull up on the black circuit board protector.

    • Turn off the hard power switch before working with the tablet. Use a tool to slide the switch to the position marked "off".

    • For most of the replacement operation, you do not have to remove the battery once you turned off the switch. Make sure that you do not short anything with the metal tools.

    • Use a Phillips #00 Screwdriver to remove nine 3mm screws that is connected to the motherboard.

    • Use tweezers to remove connected part as shown in the picture.

    • Remove the motherboard using the plastic opening tool gently.
