The Astro A40 TR Plus Mixamp M80 is a gaming headset. After extensive use, the ear cushions can wear away and become uncomfortable. A simple replacement of the damaged ear cushions will greatly improve user comfort. Follow the instructions below to replace the ear cushions.

Use your hand to firmly grasp the cushion and remove it from the speaker.
Repeat the process for the other side if needed.
The best place to grip it is where there is a tab sticking out. The tab will make it easier to remove.
When reassembling, note the curvature of the cushion to determine whether it's the left or the right cushion.
