Acer Iconia Tab 8 A1-840 Rear Camera Replacement

The camera is one the simplest components to replace once the back cover is removed. The important thing to remember here is to take your time removing the cover.

    • Power off the device

    • Remove any cables that might be connected to your device

    • Make sure the device is placed on a flat surface with the display screen facing up

    • Wedge the plastic opening tool in between the display screen and back panel

    • Do not apply too much pressure in order to avoid cracking the screen

    • Carefully separate the display from the back panel

    • Use the flat end of the spudger to gently open the black flap.

    • Use the precision tweezers to carefully pull out the connector and remove the camera.
