    • Remove the seventeen Philips #0 screws.

    • If there is a plastic storage tray in the laptop, remove it.

    • Starting from the SD Memory Card hole, start prying between the top and bottom cases.

    • Use plastic tools to avoid damaging the cover.

    • Remove the bottom case.

    • Disconnect the battery immediately for a safer repair.

    • Pull the battery connector away from the hard drive to disconnect it.

Hello, I'm just trying to find this bottom casing -- anywhere -- and cannot seem to be able to find or purchase one. Often the wrong one comes up when I search (as evidenced by vents in the wrong places). Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
