Acer Aspire V5-552PG-X469 Battery Replacement

This guide will show you how to replace the internal battery of the Acer Aspire V5-552PG-X469. This replacement may be necessary if the device won't turn on or charge even after being plugged into its charger for several minutes. Be sure to fully power off and unplug the device before beginning the battery replacement.

    • Remove the storage tray on the left edge of the device.

    • Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove seventeen 7mm screws from the lower case.

    • Lift up the back case to remove it.

    • Pull the battery connector away from the hard drive to disconnect it from its socket.

    • Pull the white connector toward the battery to disconnect it.

    • Pull the black tape-wrapped connector toward the battery to disconnect it.

    • Remove the PH #0 screw from the center of the battery.

    • Lift up the battery to remove it.

    • Be careful not to bend the battery while lifting it out, as this may cause a fire hazard.
