Acer Aspire Switch 10 SW5-012-18MY Speaker Replacement

If your Acer Aspire Switch 10 isn’t producing clear audio—distorted, intermittent, or no sound, use this guide to replace the speakers in your device. The speakers on the device are responsible for the audio. Before using this guide make sure your sound settings are turned on. Before beginning, make sure to power off your device completely and disconnect from any external power source.

    • Remove the tablet from the keyboard

    • Use the opening tool to release the back plate of the laptop.

    • Lift the back plate off the laptop.

    • Remove the speaker connector.

    • Use the opening tool to carefully slide the cable out of its port.

    • Remove the cable from the grommets.

    • Slide the opening tool under the brackets on each speaker.

    • Lift up to remove.
