Use this guide to replace a faulty Acer Aspire One 522 Laptop Battery. You can also check your battery's health with this article.

With the screen closed, turn the netbook upside down on a table.

Unlock the battery by sliding the indicated lock to the right. A red indication will show it is unlocked.

Slide and hold the lock to the left to release the battery.

Pull the battery out.

great guide. Just to add, make sure computer is powered off and that the power cord is disconnected. Remember always, safety first
