Acer Aspire M5-583P-9688 Power Jack Replacement

In this guide, you will be replacing the power jack, which is independently secured without the use of any internal screws.

    • Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove all eighteen 2.12 mm screws from the back plate of your Acer Aspire.

    • Use the spudger to remove the back plate in the highlighted area to carefully pop out the back plate.

    • Unplug the power jack from the receptor port on the motherboard, highlighted in red.

    • Remove the power jack from designated area on the side of the computer, highlighted in orange.
