Acer Aspire M5-583P-9688 Fan Replacement

In this guide you will learn to remove your current Acer Aspire M5 fan and then you can repeat the steps in reverse to install a new one.

    • Remove all 18 of the marked screws (2.12 mm) using a Phillips #1 Screwdriver.

    • Use the spudger to slowly and gently work your away around the device, popping the bottom cover off the device.

    • Remove the four marked screws (2.31mm) using a Phillips #1 Screwdriver.

    • After the screws are removed, you will need to unplug it from the motherboard shown by the red rectangle. After it is unplugged, then you will be able to remove the fan completely.
