2009-2015 Toyota Prius Grab Handle Replacement

Then when hitting a wide turn you reach for the handle to brace yourself only to be reminded that it isn't there anymore. Well, brace yourself for a simple repair/replacement process so that you can brace yourself when hitting that bend. This is a step-by-step guide on how to replace and/or install your grab handle on a 2009-2015 Toyota Prius.

    • With a spudger, enter the tab and gently apply pressure to disconnect the joint cover from the assembly.

    • Slowly apply pressure away from the frame.

    • Notice that the joint cover is hooked on the inside. Be careful not to damage it.

    • With a pair of pliers or with your fingers, pinch and pull on the metal clips to remove them.
