for an Apple iBook G4 (1.42 14" mid 2005)
On my key, the left plastic clip under the key is broken and the key is being held on from the right side only, allowing the left side to raise up a little.. It still works but would like one that fits tight if you have one.

Lift up the keyboard and check under it. There's a part number (right side of the sticker)
0140034 M has the metal scissors under the key
E206453 has the white plastic scissor under the key

You can buy replacement keys and plastic pieces very cheap on eBay. Contact someone on like this guy:

Just tell him you have an iBook G4, and make sure to be clear about what the plastic pieces under the key look like, since there are several very similar types. I would suggest getting his e-mail address and sending him a picture, just to be sure.

We really need to know EXACTLY which iBook you have. It would even help to upload a picture of what you have.
