Why can't I download songs onto my iPod Nano
I can delete songs on my iPod but I can't get any songs to download on it. Any suggestions on what I should do?

It sounds like a software issue to me. The best place to start is a software restore. Make sure your data is backed up (it will be erased), connect it to iTunes, and click the restore button.
If this does not solve your problem, the logic board is really the only other thing to blame (as most all of the iPod is permanently attached to the logic board).
