@johnjudge depending on the workload, yes, it's normal for it to warm up if you're cutting a lot of hard materials. The harder it works, the warmer it will get. Of course, you always want to make sure your tools are properly cleaned and lubricated, and that the air inlet slots are completely clear of any obstructions
