Uses Cathode Ray Tube Technology. Old Monitors and Televisions used to use this display type for many years. Very dangerous to work with, but it is possible for smaller fixes.

Without knowing what CRT you have, it's usually the flyback transformer going bad and needing to be replaced. You can do this somewhat easily if the TV was popular or generic enough to find a new flyback, but most CRTs except for the Trinitrons were generic Funai sets and usually end up scrapped when this occurs unless you can find a good flyback and do the adjustments to get the image right. It could just be bad caps, so I would check those over as well before looking for a new flyback transformer.

The other common cause is the vertical output IC but most sets fail due to caps or the flyback.

This job is a bit risky being it involves 25k+ volts as the CRT itself is a big capacitor, but it can be done. This wiki has instructions on how to do the discharge needed to change the flyback: Safely discharging CRT monitors
