Good afternoon, I'm having trouble cleaning the first set of lenses from fungus. I can't separate the two elements of the first set of lenses for the Nikon AF ED Zoom 80-200 2.8 made in Japan. What kind of glue do you use? If any, what solvent can I use? Can it be done with heat? At what temperature? Help!

@franciscor12249 to work on our lens download the AF Zoom-Nikkor 80_200mm f2.8D ED service manual from this page Nikon Lens under the Documents tab. Page 29 and on shows how to disassemble and reassemble the lens. I'd stay away from heat and would only use high grade 99% isopropyl alcohol for this.
The manual is not searchable so you will actually have to flip through it, but it has all the information that will help you with your task.
