JVC 40" LED Smart FHD Android TV The screen is dark

The TV works fine, except the screen is very dim. You can watch it, but everything is dim, and it's very difficult to see movies or shows during the day.

What is the model number of the TV?

Have you tried adjusting the brightness levels in the TV's Picture menu settings?
