iPhone 14 Pro Max screen won’t close flush after repair.
After screen replacement, the screen won’t fully close into place, flush lie usual. Not sure why.
The clips at the top of the screen is COMPLETELY folded and if you don't bend them back they will not clip into place and will stop the screen from fully closing. Make sure you check the other clips as well, if they are bent the screen would never seal up properly.
The old adhesive isn't cleaned as well. Make sure you clean that before you seal the phone up, as globs of old and uncleaned adhesive would bulge up and stop the screen from sealing completely and being waterproof. Wipe it with isopropyl alcohol wipes or something similar to remove the old adhesive.
The proximity sensor assembly cable's also in a bad shape. A corner with ICs is folded, so make sure you stick it down before sealing the phone up.

Without physically being there to see it, I would assume one of three things, either something isn't fully seated like a plug or connector, potentially a third-party apple part may not fit the dimensions of the phone properly, or lastly that you may have to go around the sides and clean up the old adhesive. Hope this helps!
