How can I re-calibrate my new battery from iFixit?

I tried to follow instructions with my replacement battery to calibrate it though the first re-charge but it got interrupted and now it will not charge from the mains adaptor until it has shut down and connected for several hours after it gets to 0%.

How do I recalibrate it>

After several tries and some data collection this now has done the trick. Thanks DanJ!

A bit disappointed with the battery life though. The MacBook Pro is connected to an external monitor through a dongle from Atzebe which gets warm. Surely that's consuming some battery power?
