How to prevent youtube displaying connected to TV in car?

When plugging Iphone into car with USB, youtube screen displays connected to TV and won't show video. Wanted to allow it to continue showing video and run sound through car system. Thanks!

iPhone thinks it is docked when connected to a USB port that isn't just power, you can either use bluetooth for the sound or an auxilary cable to work around this.
