If you can answer some of these, I can be more precise:
* Does the engine crank / turn over when you try to start? Or silent / just clicking / nothing?
* Are dashboard lights on? Headlights, radio, etc — do they have power?
* When was the last time you did maintenance (fuel filter, spark plugs, battery)?
* Has this issue started suddenly or gradually? After some event (ran out of gas? parked for a long time? got wet?)?
