Hi,
I got an iFixit iPhone 6 battery, and it's about 1.5 mm longer than the original battery and it won't fit inside the phone without pressure or possibly some bending.
Are the dimensions for all those batteries different from the original one, or I just got unlucky with a defective one?

The back of the phone says A1549, and it was purchased directly from Apple, unlocked. I assume it is supposed to be the "GSM North America".
Wont be able to say any other ID from iOS, as the old battery is not save to be re-installed, as I didn't compare the sizes before removing the original one. Rookie mistake.
However, the battery code 616-0805 is included in the compatibilities on product page:
"Compatible Part Numbers 616-0804, 616-0805, 616-0806, 616-0807, 616-0808, 616-0809".
If the exact part number is matching and product claims to replace it, then it is expected that size is supposed to match, right?
@david44671 Indeed, it should certainly fit. At this point it looks like you did everything right, so I suggest contacting iFixit Store personnel to see about a replacement. There is a web form for contact, but I've always just sent them emails to support@ifixit.com. They may have further insights as to why it doesn't fit, but if not it shouldn't be an issue to get it swapped out for one that will.

Have you compared the model numbers of both batteries, and are they the same? How about a link to the page where you purchased the battery? You're sure it's not for the 6S or 6 plus?

Yes, my original battery APN is 616-0805.
And this is the one I got from iFixit:

On battery it says:
