My laptop not turning on

I had my laptop with a dead battery then decided to remove it ...my laptop kept on working without a problem but after some time i when j try to power it on it won't power up and when i left alone i would come later to see its working again but after some time it stop working completely when you power it up it shows the white colour on charger as a sign that it try to turn on thet it turn the light back to orange and nothing happen even if left on power....but also i found a part on the back with a little corrosion i will attach a picture but i can seem to be able to measure it since i dont have a schematic
