I ruined my charging port. Can’t find a replacement

Does anyone know where I can find a USB-C assembly for this model? It looks similar to the one on the 6 but I have a hunch that it’s not the same. Can anyone verify this or point me towards where I can find a new one? I did find the one on AliExpress but it’s in China and $40. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not being cheap, I just want to verify it’s a unique part before spending more than a few bucks.

I usually look on ebay with the filter "for parts not working" for the exact item. Occasionally you can get the whole item for less than the price of the part and if something breaks while disassembling/reassembling you'll have the additional part to replace it.

It should work, usually if the previous generation of the same device has identical dimensions then they change pretty much nothing on the inside, so try swap it and if it doesnt work then return it
