replaced my S22 Ulta screen, shows its charged, but wont turn on. HELP

so I ordered a new screen after shattering my old on the one I received was a little thicker than my original one, but everything was the same inside so I figured it would not matter. I watched a step by step YouTube on how to replace the screen, I followed every instruction, after completing I plugged it in, once it was 100% charged I went to turn it on and nothing, just a black screen. so I read some problems it might be, so i took it apart again step by step, carefully checked everything was installed and connected, all plugs clicked in, ect, but still the same thing. I had to replace the adhesive on the back but the one it supplied wasn't strong enough and while removing it broke the back of my phone. but that should not make it so my phone does not turn on. does anyone have an answer? or something I can try?
