Opened the 3DS and the charging port fell off. Am I screwed?

Once upon a time (maybe a month or so ago), I opened the back of my 3DS to replace the battery (it was starting to swell and couldn't hold a charge). Unfortunately, I let my curiosity get the better of me and disassembled it further. While disassembling, I forgot to remove the screw above the game cart slot. I lifted up and watched as the charging port was lifted off its solder pads and fell into my hand. Do I just need to get a new 3DS (probably a New 3DS)?
