I was curious if it was possible to use the hi res 1680x1050 screen instead of my currently installed 1440x900 screen? I do a lot of photo editing on my macbook pro, so I could really use the additional resolution.

Run Applications->Utilities->.System Profiler:Graphics Displays Identify the Graphics Chip... look up the chip to determine if it can support that resolution. This app. might make it possible even if non-native support is not provided.
