Audio doesn't work properly
Hi, my 3ds sometimes has no sound and other times it seems like I'm hearing a radio. I tried to use headphones but it doesn't give any problem. What could be the problem?

Hi!
When the headphone jack is working, it’s probably speaker related!
But before I can confirm that, I need to hear an audio fragment about this. Can you share a video/audio fragment?

Good morning, sure!
At the beginning of my MP3 audio the 3DS was turning on. Despite the audio switch being off, the speakers were making a radio noise. After this, the 3DS played the audio of some games, but I could still hear the radio effect. I created some audio fragments, but I deleted them because the 3DS didn’t reproduce any audio.

It’s either the speakers OR the audio processor! I recommend to replace the speakers first, as this is way easier. Can you let us know if that fixed it? Thanks!
Where I can find the audio chip on the 3ds? I searched it on google but i didn't find anything useful. Anyway I will try replace the speakers and I'll let you know. Thank you
Yeah, it’s difficult to find this one! Best thing to buy a broken (donor) motherboard, where you can take the audio IC from! Best thing is to replace the stereo speaker assembly. Fortunately it’s a complete cable with the speakers already soldered on! So no soldering is required to replace it! Usually replacing this is the fix! Please let us know how it goes!
