Hello,
I need to find 4 plastic pins holding the fam in a Mac Mini A1176 (intel core solo). I broked them while I was replacing the CPU for a C2D one...
I'm not able to find those lil plastic screw...
Like those one circle in red:

I have a friend who had the same problem and he ended up just buying these and said that they work better that the original because the don't break.

You just install them but with the washer then the screw on the bottom.
Here are the order of the parts:
Screw
Heatsink
Springs (if you have them)
Logic board
Washer
Nut
Please note that the 1" screws are longer then they need to be so once they are secure you will need to cut the extra screw off. IF YOU DON'T DO THIS THEN THE MAC WILL NOT GO BACK TOGETHER PROPERLY!!!!!!!!!

Can you please share the name of the pins that you got?
I'm in need of such pins myself but for the GPU heatsink. Those ones are shorter, but the same diameter. Thanks!

I found pins that would do the trick from the UK at the link above. I replaced the cpu about a year ago and it worked though difficult for arthritic hands.
