My Battery Connecter Pin Slot Is Broken

Sorry ☹️ Not good, the connector is the BMC connection to SMC. Without it you loose the system’s ability to monitor the battery and it’s charging. The connector can be replaced by someone with good micro soldering skills and the proper tools.

@jakeyankey Looks like you lost the locking tab from the connector. I'd suggest to replace the complete connector. It is a Fujikura FF18-10A-R11AD-B-3H connector with Apple part number 518S00014 Those are available but a bit overpriced and hard to find in single quantity. Lowest quantity I've found was 2 on here Once you have the connector, you still need to find someone who can do the soldering for you. Not a terribly complicated task but anytime you solder on a logic board you will need to have some experience.
