TV keeps freezing on the home page when I try turn it off.

Basically, at night when I try turn my TV off from the home page, it freezes completely, doesn't respond to my remote, and every single time I have to get up and unplug it, plug it back in, and turn it off. I don't know why, it only does it at night, and it stays frozen for hours. Any ideas? It's not overheated or anything, I checked that, it doesn't need to be cleaned, I checked that.
