My Ac is giving hot air

@alihaider55490

Please confirm the make and model number of your air con unit?

Can you hear if the compressor motor is running or not?

Which type of AC is it, in generally if it is not cooling then either it might be that mode has been unknowingly changed on remote control or there might be a refrigerant leakage problem

The steps are as follows

1 Check the remote control to make sure you set it correctly

2 Make sure the outdoor and indoor unit is clean

3 Check the capster, the outdoor unit if it has leakage or swelling, it is damaged, and to make sure more, examine it through the multimeter

4 If the capster is excellent, turn on the air conditioner and note the outdoor unit if it works excellently (compressor works sound), here check the freon

5: If it does not work or the compressor does not take off, check the so-called external relais from the pressure on it. If you press it and it works, the defect is from it, and if you press it and the air conditioner does not work, the defect is from the compressor

6 Unscrew the compressor wires and check with the multimeter by connecting the compressor to one end of the compressor and the other end to another part

Thank you

If you have a heat pump, it might be stuck in heating mode due to a bad reversing valve or thermostat issue.

A clogged filter can restrict airflow, causing the system to overheat and shut down the cooling cycle.

Typically a clogged filter on an ac unit will reduce airflow to the evaporator coil. This means less heat gets picked up by refrigerant in the system and causes the evaporator temp to drop below freezing, causing it to ice up. Not blow hot. A dirty condenser can cause it to not cool properly, but typically should still get SOME cooling even then. If the compressor thermalled out it should still run and provide some level of cooling. I'm thinking more along the lines of a bad capacitor/relay for compressor, bad condenser fan motor, refrigerant loss, or the controller isn't calling for cooling.
