bro's ds lite has a white bottom screen, HELP

So my friend sent me his broken hinge ds and told me:

-Help me fix the white bottom screen and the broken hinge please, i need to sell it working.

And i replaced the housing for him, now just have this annoying white screen:

I tried replacing the bottom screen: still there.

Diagnosis on the old screen: No Rips And Tears, works perfectly fine on another ds lite.

the touch screen replacement: still waiting for the package

So if it's not the screen, the next thing to check is the bottom screen ZIF connector. Look it over carefully and make sure there aren't any bent/broken pins or cracked solder joints. It also wouldn't hurt to clean both the cable and connector with a toothbrush and isopropyl alcohol.

While you've got it open, check the rest of the board for any visible damage. If you find anything, you can add a pic and we'll go from there
