mobile radio which is turned off ... trying to turn it ..doesn't do an

I have a similar problem with the mobile radio which is turned off and trying to turn it on through the service menu (*#*#4636#*#*) doesn't do anything and the change doesn't save anyway as when you go back in the menu the mobile radio is off again.

Interestingly the fingerprint scanner, volume key and camera key have also stopped working and have read on a post of someone with the same mobile radio problem who, after opening the phone, found a problem a cable involving the mobile radio and fingerprint scanner that had come loose and reconnecting it solved his problem.

Any ideas on if this might be the problem or what it could be? I've tried factory reset, Xperia companion repair etc.
