Ps4 starts like it's gonna work then red light comes on with no beeps.
Ps4 acts like it's gonna start. Red light comes on with no beeps. Anyone have an idea what to look for?

I would first start by cleaning it. You can lookup a tutorial on YouTube. PS4's are notorious for dust buildup and not starting due to not enough airflow. If that doesn't work I would take out the power supply and look for any obvious faults (like something has blown ect.) Thats all I can offer with my current knowledge.

With the info you've gave me so far. It could be many things. CPU heat, Hard drive error, Power supply failure, and dust/gunk buildup.

I have never owned one or opened one up. It's my friend's son's and I kind thought it has something to do with the cpu, but before I dipped my toe in I was hoping someone may have dealt with this before.
