How do I test new LCD installed in iMac g5 20"?
I took my mac to an apple store and they told me that the screen was shot. purchased a new LCD 20" screen and installed but image is still not coming. Any suggestions ?

did you check the RAM first?

if your imac having display problem after minor troubleshooting assessment i think your problem is in the logic board, the gpu chip. i recommended let the tech guy to do a re-balling the gpu/bga chip not just reheating using heat gun, or if you want to do a test you can use a heat gun to your gpu, just heat 10sec to the gpu chip and try to test, if you have the display probably it was bga problem

Thank you I will need your guidance on this one, i tried starting the comp holding down
cmd+option+p+r , i tried as well holding down the c key.
what suggestions do you have?
