I didn't want to solder the blue

Hello I have similar problem, just for the yellow line anywhere on the board would be fine?

@oldturkey03 Really sorry for bothering you but I can afford a ps4 and I'm trying to do it my self

I didn't want to solder the blue directely to the capacitor so I prefered to the line

Tried scratching it

Do you know if these are connected or whole different lines?

Thanks again for the help

@mzhbxhwfgvmubmf anywhere within that area on the board will work

Update (08/26/23)

@mzhbxhwfgvmubmf yes, you could have just connected it to the Via. (That is the name for the hole in the board :-)

Try to use smaller tools for this. Get a cheap scalpel from the local animal supply store or similar and scrape carefully. I'd try some solder mask around the Via and solder the wire on after. You know it would have been easier to solder to the capacitor ;-)

Perfect thanks a lot one last request plz for the blue line (connecting to the capacitor) I will put a little wire but is their a temperature limit for not burning the capacitor?

( I only have these 2 pads removed)

@mzhbxhwfgvmubmf I usually use wires from either an old small transformer that I took of a TV board or from an old display cable. There is not enough amperage to have to about it being melted.

So the 2 scraches ( pinned by arrows) are from 2 differents rails? If yes I'm gonna give a shot with the capicitor :)

@mzhbxhwfgvmubmf yes, you need to keep those separated.
