Charger port says it has moisture. I've been drying it out for a week
Charger port warning. I can't connect the charger. It's been a week now and it's still coming on.
Hi Kathy,
I'm not clear on what triggers that warning on a Samsung phone, but it sounds like perhaps there's a bad sensor in there.
If it was mine the first thing I would try would be to replace the little circuit board the charging port is on; it's not too expensive and the repair is pretty straight-forward. Here's the guide you'd need to do the job.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra USB-C Port and Charging Board Replacement - iFixit Repair Guide
iFixit even sells the genuine Samsung part here; if you spring for a few extra bucks you can get the Fix Kit that has all the tools needed to do the job right.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra (USA) USB-C Charge Port - Genuine
One thing the kit doesn't come with is the precut adhesive to glue the rear cover back on when you're done; you can find it at several sites online like Amazon, eBay and AliExpress. Here's one that came up on my rather cursory search; this one's a little overkill so I'm sure you can find others, and probably cheaper as well.
OEM Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Back Glass Adhesive Seal Rework Kit w/ screws
Here are a couple of the ports that came up on eBay and Amazon; again there are lots of them out there, so find one that suits you.
Galaxy S22 / S22 Plus / S22 Ultra 5G Type-C USB Charging Port Board
Barring anyone coming up with a better idea, that's what I'd suggest as your next step.
Good luck and let us know how it works out!

Hello!
Usually this error is caused by some moisture in the port. You can replace the charge board as another commenter says, but you could also attempt to clean out the port with some isopropyl alcohol (99%, not hand sanitizer) and see if that fixes it.
