Can't install apps from other sources

Hey ,

I have tried several times installing APK apps on my phone Realme C25y but it keeps on telling me that package installer stoped working. I tried updating it but showed no change. Anyone with the solution please?

Have you been into security settings and install unknown sources and allowed the app to install them?
