no signal on my monitor

Was playing fortnite on my pc which i have been using since 2019 when suddenly the screen froze and i couldnt hear anything, not even my friends on discord. I restarted my computer only to find no signal. i tried reseating my ram and also only trying 1 stick. It didnt work.

All my peripherals light up and my gpu and cpu fans are on when i boot my pc so i assume its not a psu issue. I thought it might be a gpu issue so i switched my monitor from display port to hdmi into my motherboard to see if the bios booted. It didnt so i assume its a motherboard issue? any help resolving this situation would be great as i want to determine what part i have to replace in my pc so i don’t waste my money.

Hi @surano,

What is the make and model number of the motherboard and PSU?

How many ram modules are in use?

Have you tried just using the one module to see if you can get into BIOS?

If it doesn't work try the others (if any) one at a time and check
