Hi everyone,
I need to get a new battery for my Macbook Pro 15 inch Mid 2012. However, the battery replacement on ifixit is no longer in stock. I would of waited for the battery to back in stock but I need to fix my Macbook pretty urgently and want to get something that is reliable. From looking on amazon at the reviews of batteries they don't look great. Would appreciate any support I could get. I'm UK based

@gabrielleqsey the problem with this question is that every answer on here will be subjective. There honestly isn't a good objective answer. A suggestion I have, is that you contact companies that are known to iFixit and known to the more objective users on here. Try to contact The Bookyard They are well established on our forum and "have skin in the game". Of course, it might also help to ask established users from your part of the world that can help you out. @strongbow might have a different, or further suggestions.
Ultimately, the best place to purchase is the place that "speaks to you". If you like the price, the service and the quality of wherever you purchase from, that will be the best place for you.

OWC Nupower batteries are pretty good from what I have heard. Around the save price as the iFixit and OWC is pretty trustworthy with a decent return policy in case anything goes wrong.
