Lost UVC lamp remote now lamp will not turn on
I need to replace the plug wire to be able to turn my UVC lamp on and off either manually or remotely. The lamp was purchased in China through Amazon who connected us to company. Company does not sell the remote.
I ordered identical lamp through a different seller hoping the remote would function for both lamps.
No such luck.
What can i do to fixit?

What is the make and model number of the lamp?

How does replacing the plug wire enable the lamp to be turned on/off?
Usually the plug just connects the power cord from the lamp to the wall socket
Is there an external on/off switch on the lamp or does it turn on automatically when the power is connected from the wall outlet so inserting an inline on/off switch would make it work or does it need a remote control unit to function?
