Is there a fix for a w/damaged Iphone 4 display there is sound but no display i have installed a new display unit and i am still only getting sound ? any help would be greatfull

steve, did you clean it before you replaced the display? Use this iPhoneの水濡れ･水没ダメージからの復旧方法 as your guide for cleaning it. It is for a 3G but still applies to your phone. Do you see anything on your display or is it totally black? If it is totally black, you have issues other then the backlight. But clean it first, you may be running into corrosion issues.

The iphone4 is a amazing device yet still damaged by water like every other electronics,you could maybe go back into the phone and make sure the connectors are in place all the way there is 2,I'm sure you already no that,I would pop them off and blow out the connecters then plug them back in and make sure you here a click that will insure that they are all the way in place.Also you might even try replacing the battery the screen takes allot of power to use so maybe your battery is damaged.
